If you missed it, hey! My name is Jason. I'm 20 years old and currently living in Tomball Texas. I was actually born in New Mexico where my parents lived about all their lives right about until I came around. They wanted to move somewhere where I was going to have a better opportunity growing up. As much as I love New Mexico, it's a small towns and not a lot to do. Tomball is now my home and has made me who I am today.
I graduated high school at Tomball Memorial in 2020 which is crazy to think that was only a couple years ago. I met my bestfriend, Kara, in school and she has stuck around for about 9 years! Out of high school she joined the Air Force and I was unbelievable proud of her and she's really being her own person. We of course still talk every day no matter how far she goes.
Unlike her, straight out of high school I had no idea what I was going to do. I had a plan that if I couldn't come up with something that worked I would become an E.M.T. because I do have a soft spot when it comes to the medical field. Now I knew, as cool as that sounded, it wasn't where I wanted to end my life. There was something else and I knew I had to find it.
That's when I discovered my mom's old camera. It was a Canon Rebel XS and I remember I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever had. I took straight away to taking snap shots of the
things around me and let me tell you these were ugly pictures! I had no idea what I was doing yet I was loving every moment of it. Within a few months I was able to get my basic knowledge of what that camera could do.
All I had to do now was practice and I needed lots. Remember my friend Kara, she was my first ever model! My first photoshoot was just me and her aimlessly walking around my neighborhood and trying to find good spots for a nice background. For my first shoot I was really proud of these and honestly I still am. They're embarrassing to look back on now but knowing how far I've come, it can only get better from there.
For 2 years now I have been doing portrait photography and I wanted something unique to me and that's where Vibe Vivid came from. I'm still new in the field and honestly I'm loving every moment of it. It's something I get exited about and can't wait for. I still work a 9-5 job as well as my photography start, and with just a bit more I can't wait to go full time into something I'm passionate about. I've even got a new camera! I'm mind blown at how many features I was missing out on for all those 2 years and my pictures are looking sharper and brighter than ever. As time goes on know you guys will stick around and watch my business grow!
